Simple Ways To Make Sure You're Working For The Best Psychic Hotline

By Patricia Wood

If you have a strong connection with the after world, and can sense what the future holds for the living, you may have decided to start your own business employing these talents. Becoming a professional reader of cards or a psychic means establishing a regular clientele, which can be difficult. Some psychics opt for more regular business and look for the best psychic hotline to work for.

There are a lot of questionable phone lines operating all over the internet. To avoid those it's important to determine whether the company you are considering working for is legitimate. One easy way to find out is to ask about the company's business structure. Legitimate businesses are partnerships, LLCs, corporations, sole proprietorship, or some other recognized entity. This is a good indication the company has the proper licenses and is complying with governmental regulations.

A company can be legitimate and still have a terrible reputation. You should discuss how the company operates with psychics who are currently employed with them. There are a lot of questions you could ask, but the most important to you probably involve the amount of work the company gives them and whether or not the employees get paid on time.

You'll want to know what kind of contract you are expected to sign. If there is no contract, you may be dealing with a less than honest business. You don't want to sign anything until you've looked it over thoroughly. A lot of times companies like these will insert a non-compete clause into the contracts. This means you might not be able to work for any of the other phone lines.

Marketing and advertising are important parts of this business. When you go to work for a company you need to understand how this area of the business is handled. Without effective advertising, you may not get many calls, which means you won't make much money. It is customary for the company to bear the majority of the financial responsibility for marketing. If they are leaving all of it up to you, you might want to reconsider.

Perhaps most importantly, you want to know exactly what your pay cut will be. You already know the company will be keeping a percentage, but you won't know what that percentage is or how they spend the money they deduct from your calls. You have to figure out whether they are doing anything with their profits, like marketing and online media, or just putting the money in their pockets.

Some companies offer refunds to clients who are not satisfied with their psychic experience. In this case you need to know how much, if any, of these expenses you will be responsible for. You should ask whether you will get a W2 or 1099 at the end of the year.

Working for hotlines can be a source of steady business. It also has the benefit of letting you work out of your house and on your own schedule. None of this will matter however unless you are working for the best of the hotlines.
