If there is no system in place, it will endanger all the people and animals that are living in that particular place.

The government should provide accurate information on what will happen when the time comes for a flood. If the governing bodies do not provide accurate data, it will endanger the people. Once the calamity will strike, there is no other way to prevent it. The only course of action is to warn the people and evacuate.

Prevention is better than cure. In the past, there has been numerous accidents because of floods and many people have lost their lives because of it. That is why most countries nowadays are putting their efforts in developing new equipment that will accurately monitor the surrounding bodies of water and check if it may or may not pose a problem in the near future.
