Cordy Fitzgerald is a great author who has uses the work of fiction to convey knowledge to the masses. There are so much that can be learned from this author. Most of these lessons are derived from the most famous novel The Great Gatsby. The following are some of these experiences.

In the work of fiction, the author insists that optimism is a noble trait. If you have gone through the novel, you will realize that hopeful characterizes the whole book. The entire impression of hoping for the best for is brought out by apparently. Also, in your day to day life to is right to hope for the best and never lose hope no matter the situation.

When you are wealthy, you can succeed in living a lavish lifestyle. It can make life comfortable. However, there are some things that you cannot manage to obtain using the money. For instance, you cannot buy love with money. Love has to come freely without any cost. That explains why Gatsby was not in a position to woo daisy despite having massive wealth.

Your past personal matters a lot. In most cases, the history affects what we do in our lives in a significant way. If you had a sad past coming to terms with that is not easy. Many people tend to regret even when they are given counseling. For instance, in the novel, it was hard for Gatsby to accept the fact of being a bootlegger.

Additionally, avoid always being the first person to criticize others. Before you criticize another person, you have to ensure that you are perfect which is not possible. If you have to critique, let it be positive criticism. You must also provide that you are criticizing yourself to attain self-achievements easily. It needs to be your priority.

Another aspect that comes from the book is that physical beauty is fickle and fleeting. That lesson is brought out apparently by the character Daisy. From the time is brought out form the novel, she seems more like a beautiful caricature of herself more than an actual person. She flirts and wins the heart of later leaves the man in the dust. Beauty can confuse you into making wrong decisions.

Assumptions can quickly lead you to problems. Apparently, Fitzgerald has a sad story which unfolds from sad to more sorrowful. However, all of these issues could have been defeated were it for mere assumptions. Therefore no matter how small a thing may look, it will be good to take with seriousness.

In conclusion, it is right for you to know that unbridled passion is not always a good thing This is because it has got some challenges. You need to be in control of your affair. Many are times when such passions turn to violent. When you get into a relationship, you try to your level best to get happy.
